“Tonight was the first AmDram production I have ever attended and I was amazed."
by Alan Bennett
The play follows the actions of the Wicksteed family and their associates as they work through the effects of various infidelities and suppressed passions in this farcical comedy about the British attitude to the permissive society.
Set in the Wicksteeds’ home in 1970s Hove, the action highlights the hypocrisy and double standards that lie beneath the surface of apparently respectable families in a round of mistaken identities, sexual encounters, and long-held secrets.
