St. Jude's Players
“Tonight was the first AmDram production I have ever attended and I was amazed."
Our next production will be an evening of two one-act plays: “Guidance” by Bob Tucker, and “From Here to the Library” by Jimmie Chinn. Readings will take place on Tuesday 18 and Wednesday 26 May. Auditions will be an Thursday 27 May and Tuesday 1 June. All at the Social Hall at 8pm. New members welcome.
St Jude’s Players will be holding its AGM on April 7 at the Social Hall. Nominations are wanted for the new committee, particularly for a new Chair.
St. Judes Players will be producing Little Shop of Horrors in mid May – so if you are interested in acting, singing, joining our technical crew, being in the band or even becoming a man-eating plant contact us. Readthroughs are on 14th and 19th January with auditions on 21st and 26th January.
The St Jude’s Players annual barbecue will be on Saturday 5th September at the Pavilion, starting at 8pm. Attendance costs £5.00 payable in advance.
This year’s pantomime shall be Beauty and the Beast. There will be a script read-through on Tue 4 Aug, then auditions will be held
on Thur 13 Aug and Tue 18 Aug. All these are at the Social Hall from 8pm. Anyone who wants to be involved in the show is welcome, whether a member of the group or not.
