Lead Guitarist Wanted
We are still short of a lead guitarist for the band for Little Shop of Horrors. If you, or somebody you know, can play the electric guitar and feels like blasting out songs about man-eating plants, then please get in touch. Send any names to the director, Simon Early.
Who Are We?
St Jude’s Players are an amateur dramatics group, founded in 1957 and based in Englefield Green, Surrey.
We are particularly known for our pantomimes (oh yes we are!) performed during the first two weeks of December each year. We also produce Spring and Summer shows which could be plays, comedies or murder mysteries. Our aims are simple (they have to be!): to present the best performances possible and have a lot of fun in the process. Our membership has an age range from 10 to 60-ish!
New members are always welcome, and if you are interested in:
- Acting
- Directing
- Technical Crew (Lighting, Sound, Set-build etc)
- Stage Management
- Front of House

SJP also operate the Social Hall on behalf of Runnymede Borough Council for the benefit of the community. All facilities are for hire and include:
- the Main Hall with stage;
- two dressing rooms;
- two activity or meeting rooms;
- a smaller Committee room;
- a well-equipped kitchen.
